Harris Teeter - BOGO is NOT FREEBIE DEAL AT ALL LOOK CAREFULLY AT your receipt
Harris Teeter continues to advertise "Buy One Get One" (BOGO) but they mislead - there is no "get one" to it, H-T charges consumer for each item.
Monetary loss in thousands of dollars through 10 years. Loss approx.
$20.
weekly - visit 4 times per month x 10 years. It totals to approximately $8,000 for one customer(s).
Been trusting H-T for 10 years to give "Buy One Get One Free" as often advertised as BOGO in their sales flyer. WATCH OUT - H-T's BOGO means "Buy one Buy one" NOT "Buy One Get One" as website states.
After price hikes, I took serious look at my receipt and found sales prices on BOGO usually means you can get 1/2 price for one, and pay ANOTHER 1/2 price for second item. Website should state fact that WE PAY FOR SECOND ITEM in their BOGO "deal" - H-T BOGO DOES NOT MEAN BUY ONE GET ONE FREE.
Check your receipts and complain. Thinking of Class Action Suit for the millions of customers and dollars they have raked in over false and misleading advertising, especially taking advantage of vulnerable seniors who can't examine receipts closely.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Monetary Loss: $8.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Harris Teeter Cons: Bogo misleading & does not give freebie -.
